The SJH Group

Employee ownership

The fact that the SJH Group is owned and run by its employees is a defining feature of the Group’s identity.

A shared future

The people who contribute to our businesses are central to the Group’s long-term future.

In January 2024, the SJH Group confirmed its transition to employee ownership, marking a new chapter in the organisation’s history.

The SJH Group’s employee ownership is structured through an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). It gives our shared future a lasting place in the organisation, supported by a Board of Trustees.

Our businesses retain their own expertise and commercial relationships. Employee ownership connects their people within the wider Group, reflecting the collaboration and contribution of employees across the organisation.

Our Board of Trustees

Experience, commitment and a long-term perspective.

The Board of Trustees is made up of Stephen van der Merwe, Ludovica Bellomaria, Paul Woolley, Elliott Jordan and Rachael Hunt. Between them, the board has dedicated more than 60 years to the business.

The board and its members are a key part of the continued development of the Group’s Employee Ownership Trust structure and outlook.
